I AM TRUSTED BY

COURTS
From Municipal Courts to Federal Courts
The courts for which my services have been requested:
In Washington State -
Municipal courts
District courts
Superior courts
Federal courts
Correction Facilities

Around the country (10+ States) -
Immigration courts
Immigration detention centers

I have provided Mandarin interpreter services to almost every court of every level in Washington State, from Seattle to Kennewick, from Bellingham to South Bend. I have also been requested by courts from other states for a variety of language-related services and immigration courts, from Alaska to Florida, and from Washington to Texas. Since 2011, I have served more than 80 courts and counting.

The case types I have covered are also diversified, from simple mitigation hearings to multiple-week jury trials. If you are wondering if I have experience of interpreting the type of case for which you need a Mandarin interpreter, please don't hesitate to contact me.
LAW FIRMS
The Voice that Facilitates the Communication
I am often requested by attorneys to facilitate the following:
Attorney-client meetings
Depositions
First consultation session with a prospect

When I get requested by a new client, I am often instructed by the attorney that I would only interpret what their client says. Sounds simple enough? Well, many lawyers are concerned about the fidelity of the interpretation for a reason. It's really not that simple.

It takes much training, practice, and experience to hone the skills so that the interpretation is not just a rendition of a speech in a different language, but a smooth flow of meanings that make sense to each listener participating in the dialogue.

Many of my clients would tell me after the conclusion of the assignment that they were surprised by how fast things went, and their communication seemed to go effortless as if there were no language barrier.

CONFERENCES
Can't Get Bigger than That
Maybe that's because I happen to live in the Seattle area, but I have been privileged to be an interpreter for many wonderful conferences held by some great companies, including but not limited to:
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Boeing
Brooks Sports
Hyatt
Microsoft
Starbucks

I have also had the honor to be the voices of the following amazing individuals, such as:
Andrew Ross Sorkin (Journalist and Author)
Antonio Guterres (UN General Secretary)
Bill Gates (founder of Microsoft)
David M. Rubenstein (co-founder of Carlyle Group)
Howard Schultz (former CEO of Starbucks)

Conference interpreting is among the hardest jobs an interpreter can do. If you need interpreters for your conference, be sure to hire the most professional interpreters, and I will be happy to put together a team for you.

GOVERNMENTS & OTHERS
Pretty Much Everyone
My services have also been requested by many government agencies, universities and individuals for the following purposes (not comprehensive):

Town hall meetings
Administrative hearings
Communities meetings
University cultural events
Psychological evaluations
Medical appointments
Immigration interviews
Settlement conferences

There are just so many situations where having an interpreter can help tremendously. Without an interpreter, there is at least a world that is completely invisible to you. With an interpreter, the possibility is at least doubled right away. It's time to think outside of the box.
